Happy Monday!! I hope you all had a great weekend!
If you are a regular around here, then you know that I am makeup junkie. I am always testing the newest products and beauty trends. I recently have accumulated quite a bit a new makeup. SO many brands are releasing new items right now and of course I want to try them all. I have rounded up the items I have recently purchased. A few of the drugstore items are dupes for high end which is always fun to compare the two. I have tried the majority of these items a few times so I will try and do a quick review of each.
If you head over to my IG story, I actually did a get ready with me with some of the products I am sharing in this post. If you are reading this later, I made sure to save the video clips to my IG story highlights under the beauty section. If you’re interested in seeing these products in action I highly suggest heading to my Instagram to check it out.
1. ELF Poreless Putty Primer: This is a dupe for the high rated Tatcha Primer. It claims to conceal pores and it really does work. I along with most people have pores on my nose and on my cheeks around my nose. While they aren’t large they are noticeable to me. I think this primer does a great job of hiding my pore’s which make my makeup application much more seamless and flawless. Under $10 and I am sure just as good as the Tatcha one.
2.ELF Camo Concealer: This is one of MANY concealers I am sharing in today’s post. I am OBSESSED with this concealer. It is a medium to full coverage and hides my dark circles and bags SO good. I dries rather quickly so you do have to work fast when using the product but the finish is flawless and I have had NO problems with it creasing. If you have dry under eyes I suggest using a moisturizing eye cream. I have used this concealer without a powder and it lasted just as well as it did with a powder.
3.Morphe Fluidity Full Coverage Concealer: This concealer along with a foundation launched earlier this month. I didn’t pick up the foundation but decided to test the concealer. This is a FULL coverage concealer so you have to use sparingly. The finish is more semi-matte than matte in my opinion. I like to use this on day’s my skin is a bit on the drier side or days where I am doing heavy full on glam. You HAVE to set this concealer with a powder. If not it tends to move throughout the day.
4.Morphe Continuous Setting Spray: Setting sprays are one of those makeup products for me that aren’t a necessity. I always tend to forget to use them. I will say this is a cross between the UD All Nighter and MAC Fix+!! I use this on days I do more full glam and it definitely melts your makeup together to give that flawless finish,
5.NYX Butter Gloss: I have this gloss in SO many shades. I LOVE using these alone OR to top off my favorite lip combo.
6.Real Techniques Beauty Sponge: Hands down the best beauty sponge!! I prefer these over the original beauty blender. I always stock up when these go one sale. Ulta recently had BOGO free so I grabbed a few. They are only like $4.99 which is SUCH a steal.
7. Charlotte Tilbury Face Powder: If there is ONE product from this post that you buy it needs to be THIS one! I have never been so in love with a face powder. I tell everyone this is photoshop in powder form. I use this under my eyes and set my foundation. THIS IS A GAME CHANGER! I was SO not into spending the $$ on a face powder bc my $5 maybelline powder works just fine but it really is SUCH an amazing product. It is very finely milled so a little goes a long way. Although it is a bit of a splurge it will take quite a while to use up all the product.
9.Kokie Professional Contour Palette: This palette is a dupe of the Kat Von D sculpt and light palette. This is perfect for travel! The product sits very nicely on the skin. (Check your local Walmart!)
12. Makeup Revolution Foundation: This has been my go-to foundation ever since I purchased it. It is another dupe. This is a dupe for the Tarte Shape Tape foundation. Personally I like this one MUCH better. It is a full coverage foundation and covers everything from acne scars to discoloration of the skin. I highly recommend testing out this foundation if you are looking for an affordable full coverage foundation.
